ProFlex Technologies has entered into a strategic and exclusive partnership with Siemens Energy. In this partnership, Siemens Energy will offer Spontaneous Leak Detection (SLD) Service powered by ProFlex as a subscription service for detection of small spontaneous leaks in pipelines, gathering systems and offshore risers.

The SLD Service is based on Siemens Energy proven IoT architecture and leverages “Digital Pipe-Safe™ Advanced Leak Detection Technology” from ProFlex Technologies to identify and locate spontaneous leaks within seconds. The IoT architecture leverages edge nodes and cloud technology to detect the leak, time stamp the leak and then calculate the location of the leak and provide notification to customers.  The SLD Service will enable operators to reduce the environmental risk associated with operating their infrastructure by minimizing unplanned releases of product into the ecosystem.

This partnership will allow ProFlex Technology to rapidly expand deployment of its proprietary leak detection technology, leveraging the global presence of Siemens Energy.
